Mark Snider - Head Wrestling Coach

Coach Snider has been the Head Wrestling Coach at Hewitt-Trussville High School since 1998. He is a two-time Alabama State Champion. He was also voted "Outstanding Wrestler in the State" and won High School All-American honors while attending Erwin High School. He wrestled collegiately at Auburn University. His accomplishments in college include two-time SEIWA Champion, two-time SEC Runner-up, and two-time NCAA Qualifier. In 1998 & 2000 he was voted Jefferson County Coach of the Year. Jack Burton - Assistant Wrestling Coach

Coach Burton is an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Hewitt-Trussville High School. Coach Burton joined the Hewitt staff in 2005-06. Prior to coming to Hewitt, he was the Head Wrestling Coach at Erwin High School from 1998-2005. He was an Alabama State Champion while wrestling at West End High School. Coach Burton coached the 1998-99 Erwin team that won the 5A state championship. He has coached many individual state champions over his tenure as the Erwin Head Coach. Prior to coaching at Erwin, Coach Burton was one of the top officials in the state for over 25 years, officiating in both high school and in college.

John Scozzaro - Assistant Wrestling Coach

Coach Scozzaro is an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Hewitt-Trussville High School. He joined the Hewitt Wrestling staff in 2007-08 as our JV wrestling coach. Coach Scozzaro has many years of coaching experience including football, wrestling, and baseball. He was the Head Wrestling Coach at John Carroll Catholic High School from 1981-1983.
